People walking away. I’ve always felt I was missing and the odd one out or “the weird one.” Even with masking it was always hard to fit in and it was exhausting. I’ve been lucky where I’ve had people to feel comfortable around and be my true autistic self, this year I lost one of them, which was my nana. It has been hard and brought about a lot of changes to my routines, which causes a lot of anxiety for me. I’m scared about people walking away from me. I’ve always been scared of being alone and the unknown without my nana is scary.
