I'm excited to share that my artwork fortgoen is currently being exhibited at Arrival Gallery.
This piece explores grief, autism, change, and the fear of being left behind.
fortgoen
People walking away. I've always felt I was missing and the odd one out, or "the weird one." Even with masking, it was always hard to fit in, and it was exhausting. I've been lucky to have people around whom I could be my true autistic self. This year, I lost one of them—my nana. It has been incredibly difficult and has brought many changes to my routines, which causes a lot of anxiety for me. I'm scared about people walking away from me. I've always been scared of being alone, and the unknown without my nana is frightening.
