"The world is full of colour and information, visually it can be overwhelming - even more so if you’re neurodiverse. Bug is a photographer who is autistic and uses the medium of photography to mediate this visual overload and slow the world down through the images. In the work, Bug can control the light and the contrast to create meditative abstract pieces, which allows Bug to take the fast paced noise of the outside world and communicate his vision back to us at a slower more refined pace that’s more manageable for both the artist and the viewer."
